Dan looks after the heavy engineering and data that powers Contributoria. He helped build Flickr in San Francisco for three years, before working at The Guardian for several more. When he’s not trying to understand the intersection between journalism and technology, he tries to cram in a little art here or there.

Sarah Hartley is the editor of Contributoria. She knows the life of the freelance journalist from both sides of the fence having spent more than 20 years at major news organisations (mostly with Guardian Media Group) before working independently. Member of the NUJ, the Frontline Club and the Digital Editors’ Network.
Founder / Business Director
Matt's ensures the business is doing well and everyone has what they need to make Contributoria better. He’s been part of the digital publishing ecosystem since 1994 - leading digital arms of print businesses such as The Industry Standard and InfoWorld, building platforms at media companies such as Yahoo! and The Guardian, and creating new digital media businesses such as n0tice.com and Contributoria.
Robert is responsible for developing Contributoria's commercial growth, including relationships with publishers, commercial companies and the not-for-profit sector. He was previously Executive Director of the Guardian Foundation.
Nat works on the front-end of Contributoria, producing elegant, standards-compliant code that works on any device. They also ran teaching courses at institutions like Goldsmiths, UCA Epsom and LCC, and have worked on projects for the RSC, Diesel and Artangel.
Dean is responsible for all aspects of the design of Contributoria – user experience, brand development and art direction. He has previously a design team manager at Orange UK, and also worked for clients including Channel 4, BBC, Faber Books, Last.fm, The Usborne Foundation and Orange UK.
